Which is the better place to sell a car - e-bay or Auto Trader?

Question by Oldwhiteguy2earth: Which is the better place to sell a car - e-bay or Auto Trader?
It would seem that Auto Trader is more local and more convenient, but e-bay might be viewed by more people. If the car is an older transportation car, not an exotic or a sports car, I would think that Auto Trader would be the more effective place to get local potential buyers.
