Question by krazyfoo: How to avoid a doctored car?
I am going to look at a 1992 lexus sc400 that supposedly has 108,000 miles on it and has nothing wrong with it. However, it is ridiculously cheap. Its from a small used car dealer out in the middle of dallas and I'm trying to make sure I don't end up with a lemon. I want to know how to check things like if the guy poured liquid glass in the radiator to seal a bad head gasket, or how to check and avoid whatever other short term crappy "fixes"
